about me

I live in Sydney where I paint at my home studio and tutor at Ku-Ring-Gai Art Centre. I am a Fellow of the Royal Art Society of New South Wales. I trained and qualified as an art teacher in Cape Town and founded and ran the Waverton Art Centre from 1991 to 2002 where I taught painting, drawing, pottery, craft, outdoor sketching and figure drawing. My latest body of work is inspired by the large pond found at the Old Coal Loader at Waverton. I spend many hours there drawing and observing nature. The works are executed in acrylics, gouache, pastels and mixed media. My work has been acquired by The Blacktown City Council, North Sydney Council, and Parramatta Art Society.
